  • Architecture adapting to increasing floods and rising seas: If you live in areas prone to floods or are worried about rising sea levels, get inspired by these five amphibious houses designed to resist this new climate reality.
  • The Safest Car of All Time: Car-maker Tesla was just awarded the highest safety rating of any car ever tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for its Model S. The Model S set a new record for the lowest injury probability to its passengers of all vehicles tested, including every major make and model approved for sale in the United States.
  • Massachusetts became the first state to ban commercial food waste: Massachusetts is home to many pioneers addressing the country’s monumental food waste problem.
